Most people don’t start with “I’m going to handle bed bugs myself.”

Nobody expects to deal with bed bugs at work.

Moving is already a lot. Boxes everywhere, that one drawer you swore you cleaned out last year, and the weird panic of realizing you own way more towels than a human should.

If you have pets in the house, bed bugs feel extra gross. Not just because it’s bed bugs (obviously), but because now you’re trying to solve two problems at once.

Bed bugs are already stressful. The bites, the lack of sleep, the weird spiral of googling at 2 a.m., the “is that another one?” moment when you spot a speck on the mattress seam.

Bed bug prep is already annoying when you are young and spry.

Vacations are supposed to be the break. The reset.

Buying a used couch can feel like a win.

You wake up with bites. Or maybe you just notice little itchy bumps after sitting on the couch. And your brain instantly goes there.

You sit down to watch something. You feel a little itch. Then you notice a tiny rust colored dot on the cushion seam. Then another.
